Softball Recap: Pinecrest Takes a Loss

Pinecrest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Randleman Tigers, falling 12-1. The Patriots were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.

Pinecrest saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex Nowakowski, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Pinecrest's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Randleman, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3.

Looking ahead, Pinecrest will venture away from home to take on Richmond at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Randleman, they will welcome Providence Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
