Volleyball Recap: Rogers Finds Home Court Redemption Against Clay-Chalkville

There's no place like home for Rogers, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Clay-Chalkville Cougars on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Pirates also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2023.

Rogers' first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Clay-Chalkville, they dropped their record down to 1-3 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Rogers will head out to face off against Lexington at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clay-Chalkville, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Covenant Christian on the 23rd.
