Soccer Game Preview: Clairemont vs. University City

The Clairemont Chieftains will take on the University City Centurions at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Clairemont's offense. They came up short against Hoover on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Chieftains have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, University City and Mission Bay finished up their matchup with a 2-2 draw on Tuesday. The outcome might've been different if Garret Conway hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited his ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

Wyatt Gerstenslager and Owen King scored both of University City's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

University City's draw makes their record 5-2-5 this season. As for Clairemont, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.
