Baseball Recap: Mena Comes Up Short

Mena was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 15-2 to the Perryville Mustangs.

Mena's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Perryville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Mena and Perryville will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Bearcats will face off against rival Clarksville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Perryville is set to take on their familiar foe Dover at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
