Volleyball Recap: Byers Find Success + How To Watch

Byers's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Peyton Panthers. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

The win didn't come easy: Peyton scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-23, 26-24, 16-25, 25-20.

Byers found their leader in freshman Zoie Murphy, who had 14 digs and 13 assists. Those 14 digs set a new season-high mark for Murphy.

Byers was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. They are 7-2 when they serve at least ten aces.

Byers' victory bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Peyton, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-12.

Byers wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Limon on the 23rd. As for Peyton, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Swink on the 22nd.
