Basketball Recap: Mt. Hope Comes Up Short

Mt. Hope and La Salle Academy squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Mt. Hope had to settle for second. They were beaten by the La Salle Academy Rams 69-33. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Huskies have suffered since December 28, 2024.

The loss snapped Mt. Hope's winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 18-6 record. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.4 points over those games. As for La Salle Academy, the win (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 24-2.
