Baseball Game Preview: Dillon Wildcats vs. Georgetown Bulldogs

Dillon is 0-7 against Georgetown since March of 2018 but things could change on Tuesday. The Dillon Wildcats will challenge the Georgetown Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

Dillon made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Darlington, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Dillon was the clear victors by a 15-4 margin over Darlington on Friday. The match marked the Wildcats' most dominant win of the season so far.

Meanwhile, the third road contest was the charm for Georgetown, as they earned their first road win of the season. They put the hurt on Ridge View with a sharp 7-1 victory on Saturday. Seven seems to be a good number for the Bulldogs as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Tucker Perrow spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up seven Ks.

On the hitting side, Zack Krause was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. Wills Bradham also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Dillon now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Georgetown, the victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-4.

Dillon suffered a grim 12-3 defeat to Georgetown when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can Dillon avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
