Baseball Game Preview: Sts. Peter & Paul Sabres vs. Key Obezags

Sts. Peter & Paul is 1-9 against Key since March of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Sabres will take on the Obezags at 4:00 p.m.

Things were looking good for Sts. Peter & Paul after they put the first run on the board on Monday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Holly Grove Christian by a score of 9-8.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Key). They blew past Friends 15-1 on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Obezags in their matchups with the Quakers: they've now won five in a row.

Key's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Sts. Peter & Paul, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-10.

Sts. Peter & Paul might still be hurting after the 18-1 loss they got from Key in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. Can the Sabres avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
