Basketball Recap: Sophie Sellars Key Part of Team Effort in Crusaders Win

Faith Baptist Christian Academy's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They managed a 36-32 win over Trinity Christian. The Crusaders have beaten Trinity Christian the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest Trinity Christian has come to flipping the script.

Faith Baptist Christian Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sophie Sellars, who posted 11 points and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Julia Pierce, who scored eight points and eight boards.

Kelly Mills and Ryan Yancey certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Mills put up 13 points, while Yancey earned 13 points.
