Volleyball Recap: Hume Comes Up Short

Hume lost against Butler back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Hornets lost 3-0 to the Bears. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Hornets have suffered since October 23, 2024.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-16, 25-14.

Baileigh Rogers paced Hume's offense, picking up six kills. Rogers got some help from Kenzee Snider and her seven assists. Finally, Rogers was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high ten blocks.

Hume's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Butler, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Hume didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Ballard on the 16th. As for Butler, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Archie on the 16th.
