Santa Fe is a perfect 3-0 against The Villages Charter since March of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Raiders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Buffalo at 7:00 p.m. Santa Fe will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.
While Santa Fe's win against Lafayette wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Raiders' pitcher stepped up to hand the Hornets a 2-0 shutout on Friday. The two-run effort marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

The result came thanks to Brooklyn McDougall's shutout, as she gave up just two hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Santa Fe let Maren Hornsby and Breleigh Ford run wild. Hornsby scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3, while Ford scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Hornsby has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Callie Blair also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last contest, The Villages Charter made sure to put some runs up on the board against Nature Coast Tech on Friday. The Buffalo were the clear victors by an 11-4 margin over the Sharks. The Buffalo might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by six runs or more this season.
Alexa Galewski was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Zoey Schutt, who went 2-for-5 with four RBI and two runs.
The Villages Charter kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Santa Fe's victory was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for The Villages Charter, their victory bumped their record up to 9-7.
Santa Fe skirted past The Villages Charter 6-4 in their previous meeting back in March. Do the Raiders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Buffalo turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
