Volleyball Recap: Meade River Takes a Loss

Meade River suffered their biggest loss since October 11th on Saturday. They lost 3-0 to the Nuiqsut Trapper Trappers. Unfortunately, that's the fifth time they've come up short against the Trappers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss on Friday.

Meade River took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-20, 25-23.

Meade River's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Nuiqsut Trapper, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Meade River will square off against rival Alak on November 7. Meanwhile, Nuiqsut Trapper is set to face off against their familiar foe Tikigaq on Saturday.
