Soccer Recap: Point Pleasant Comes Up Short

Point Pleasant lost against Charleston Catholic back in November of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Big Blacks lost 7-0 to the Irish. Point Pleasant have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Point Pleasant's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Charleston Catholic, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-1-1 and their overall record up to 2-4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Point Pleasant will head out to square off against Lincoln County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Charleston Catholic, they will venture away from home to face off against Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
