Soccer Game Preview: Kamiakin vs. Walla Walla

The Kamiakin Braves will venture away from home to face off against the Walla Walla Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Kamiakin is headed into Friday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Kennewick. While losing is never fun, Kamiakin can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 141st, while Kennewick are ranked 34th).

Meanwhile, Walla Walla was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to Chiawana.

Kamiakin's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Walla Walla, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Kamiakin beat Walla Walla 3-1 in their previous meeting back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Braves since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
