While Buckfield's victory against Telstar wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bucks narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Rebels 5-4. The victory continues a trend for the Bucks in their matchups with the Rebels: they've now won three in a row.

Lillian Tiftt and Brooklyn Richardson did most of the damage at the plate: Tiftt went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI, while Richardson went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That's the most hits Tiftt has posted since back in April.

Buckfield's record now sits at 10-4. As for Telstar, with the defeat, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-2.

Buckfield will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Rebels: the pair will be back at it again later today.
