Basketball Recap: Riverdale Continues Road Dominance on Tuesday

While Riverdale didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 49-42 victory over the Richland Center Hornets on Tuesday. The Chieftains have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hornets, too.

Riverdale's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points per game. As for Richland Center, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Riverdale will host Mineral Point at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Richland Center, they will welcome Lancaster at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
