Mayflower has gone 9-0 against Dover recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Mayflower Eagles will take on the Dover Pirates in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Mayflower beat Harmony Grove 47-43.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dover). They blew past Perryville, posting a 61-32 victory. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Mayflower's record is now 5-2. As for Dover, their record now sits at 4-9.

Mayflower strolled past Dover in their previous meeting back in February by a score of 69-52. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mayflower since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
