It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Spring Grove ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Mechanicsburg Wildcats 2-1. The victory was all the more spectacular given Spring Grove's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 380th, while Mechanicsburg are ranked 40th).
