Preview: Anderson Raptors vs. Walnut Hills Eagles
The Anderson Raptors will head out on the road to face off against the Walnut Hills Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Walnut Hills took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Anderson, who comes in off a win.
Last Saturday, Anderson made easy work of New Richmond and carried off a 70-49 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Anderson.
Anderson relied on the efforts of Andrew Patterson, who scored 20 points along with eight rebounds, and Cassius Black, who scored 21 points along with nine rebounds and six steals. Another player making a difference was A.J. Austin-Robinson, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds.
Meanwhile, Walnut Hills' recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 72-34 defeat at the hands of Lebanon.
Anderson's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Walnut Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
Everything went Anderson's way against Walnut Hills when the teams last played back in January as Anderson made off with a 96-70 win. With Anderson ahead 45-19 at the half, the game was all but over already.
