Basketball Recap: South Guilford Homeschool's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak at Home

South Guilford HomeSchool managed to keep up with Winston Salem Christian until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The South Guilford HomeSchool Cougars lost 49-29 to the Winston Salem Christian Lions. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cougars have suffered since March 7, 2024.

When it comes to explaining why South Guilford HomeSchool lost, don't look at Isa Bosch. Despite the final result, she posted seven points and 17 boards. The dominant performance gave Bosch a new career-high in rebounds. Kourtney Bullins was another key player, putting up 12 points and seven boards.

South Guilford HomeSchool's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 26-2. As for Winston Salem Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.
