            Softball Recap: Loveland Tigers vs. Anderson Raptors        
        
		
        
        
            Loveland was the  11-9 winner over Anderson when they last played one another  back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers fell  11-7 to the Raptors on Tuesday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

 Rylee Ripperger put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  pitched seven innings while giving up just one earned  (and seven unearned) runs off   nine  hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 3-for-4 with one  triple and two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Helena Keeton and  Olivia Williams did some serious damage despite the final result:  Keeton  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-4, while  Williams  scored a  run while going 2-for-3. Keeton is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last three games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Summer Rohlfs, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base.
Loveland's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Anderson, their  win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-4.
 Loveland and Anderson could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage  in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Tigers (ranked 320th) will meet Little Miami (ranked 138th)  at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Meanwhile,  Anderson will  square off against  Lebanon  at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday with a big rank  disadvantage  (450 vs. 79).
