Lowcountry-Piedmont (8 Man) recap September 17, 2013

Spencer Houston of Coastal HomeSchool ran for the longest rushing play in Lowcountry-Piedmont (8 Man) this season against Henry Academy last week. Houston scampered for 91 yards on the play and finished with 137 on the day as his team bested the Patriots.

First Baptist fell to James Island Christian 52-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Ian Butler ran for 53 yards and caught 2 passes for 24 yards in the loss.

Coastal HomeSchool's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Gunnar Gibson threw for 73 and 2 touchdowns and Scheldon Paulk had 62 yards receiving. Luke Hannon helped Coastal HomeSchool's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 11 yards.

Gene Gibson's team's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver.
