Football Recap: White County Warriors vs. Silverdale Academy Seahawks
White County gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. Everything went their way against the Silverdale Academy Seahawks as the White County Warriors made off with a 42-17 win. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Warriors just coasted through the last quarter.
Tripp Pinion had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 104 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries, and also threw for 239 yards and two touchdowns while completing 93.8% of his passes. Demarious Dowell was another key player, picking up 86 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
White County will be playing at home against Warren County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are at an even 3-3 against one another since September of 2014. As for Silverdale Academy, they will take on Goodpasture Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
