Volleyball Recap: Providence Classical Christian Comes Up Short

If Providence Classical Christian was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Northwest Christian two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Highlanders fell just short of the Fellowship Christian Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The Highlanders haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Providence Classical Christian started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 19-25, 25-9, 25-21, 16-14.

Providence Classical Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Fellowship Christian, the win keeps them at an undefeated 13-0.

Providence Classical Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fellowship Christian, they will face off against Grace Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
