Baseball Game Preview: Mainland Buccaneers vs. Pine Ridge Panthers

For the second straight game, Mainland will face off against Pine Ridge. The Buccaneers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Mainland lost 10-3 to Pine Ridge on Tuesday. The Buccaneers have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

For Pine Ridge's part, the team relied heavily on Nathan Murrah, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and one double. Those three runs gave Murrah a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Daryl Badger, who went 1-for-2 with two runs.

Pine Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Mainland, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
