Volleyball Recap: Fannin County Finds Home Court Redemption Against Trion

There's no place like home for Fannin County, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Trion Bulldogs on Thursday. The Rebels haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

While Fannin County won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 27-25.

Keslie Kea paced Fannin County's offense, picking up ten kills. Kea got some help from Maggie Ledford and her 21 assists. Taber Pass controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

The victory got Fannin County back to even at 13-13. As for Trion, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-12.

Coincidentally, Fannin County and Trion will both be playing Dalton Academy the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Pumas at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Rebels will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
