Basketball Recap: Weimar Comes Up Short

Weimar lost to Bloomington on January 6th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Bobcats/Lady Cats by a score of 38-36. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Weimar's defeat dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Bloomington, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-13 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Weimar will challenge rival Shiner at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Bloomington is set to face off against their familiar foe Ganado at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
