Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Los Angeles CES walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Van Nuys Wolves on Friday as they made off with a 19-4 victory. The Unicorns might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by seven runs or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Los Angeles CES and bumps their season record up to 6-8. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 21.5 runs over those games. As for Van Nuys, they moved to 11-11 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Los Angeles CES will face off against Animo De La Hoya at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Boxers will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Unicorns surely won't give up without a fight. Van Nuys does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
