Basketball Recap: East Beauregard Takes a Loss

East Beauregard came up into this matchup off a tough 20-point loss last Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Iota Bulldogs by a score of 48-45 on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now lost three in a row.

East Beauregard's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Iota, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Beauregard won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Berchmans Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Iota, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Grand Lake at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
