Football Recap: Maui Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Maui was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 35-7 loss at the hands of the Lahainaluna Lunas. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lunas this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 49-14 back in September.

Braylen Arnise threw for 164 yards and one touchdown.

Maui's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Lahainaluna, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Maui will challenge Baldwin at 7:00 p.m. on the 18th. As for Lahainaluna, they will square off against Kamehameha Maui at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lunas will need to watch out since the Warriors have now posted at least 31 points in their last five contests.
