Softball Recap: Jay Takes a Loss

Jay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the MacArthur Brahmas, falling 19-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Brahmas this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-2 back in March.

Jay saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jennifer Galindo, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Jay's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for MacArthur, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-10-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Jay is set to take on their familiar foe Harlandale at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, MacArthur will face off against rival Southside at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
