Denver East took down Adams City 46-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.

The Angels led 5A Aurora in scoring this week by notching 46 points on the Eagles.

Austin Ruiz provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Hinkley fell to Rangeview. He completed 11 passes for 208 yards and 1 touchdown and also ran for 51 yards. Ruiz's key target this week was Dante Richardson, who caught 4 passes for 114 yards.

Deron Harrell threw for 250 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Richardson was the best receiver in the league this week as the Thunderbirds lost to the Raiders. Richardson racked up 4 receptions for 114 yards. Jesus Chavarria helped Hinkley's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 40 yards.

5-foot-10 quarterback Ruiz of Hinkley is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1,133. He has also thrown 13 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Ja'ron Kellem. The Aurora Central star has 26 catches for 499 yards.

The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Gateway takes on second place Rangeview. Gateway topped Aurora Central last week, while Rangeview defeated Jaron Cohen's team.

The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Olympians take on David Gonzales' team. Gateway has allowed 146 points this season, while the Raiders have given up 90. Ashour Peera's team allowed 28 points last week as it bested the Trojans.
