East Burke won the last time they faced Draughn and Ossie Burkeen did his part to make sure it happened again. The Cavaliers breezed past the Wildcats to the tune of 62-8 on Friday thanks in part to Burkeen, who rushed for 230 yards and three scores while picking up 11.5 yards per carry. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 111.1 rushing yards per game.

East Burke pushed their record up to 4-6 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 10.0 points on average over those games. As for Draughn, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-9.

Coming up, East Burke will head out to challenge Tuscola at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Burkeen and Sam Trantham. Draughn does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
