Soccer Recap: Heights' Losing Streak Snapped at Seven Games

Heights's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They beat the Bellaire Cardinals by a goal, winning 3-2. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Bulldogs as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Heights' victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-9. As for Bellaire, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Heights and Bellaire could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Heights (ranked 600th) will meet Westside (ranked 275th) at 6:15 p.m. on February 12th. Similarly, Bellaire will square off against Lamar at 4:30 p.m. on Friday down 554 places (608 vs. 54).
