Recap: Rogers Heritage War Eagles vs. Bishop Kenny Crusaders
The Rogers Heritage War Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fourth straight loss. They fell to Bishop Kenny 47-42. Bishop Kenny's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kathleen Crawley, who scored 14 points. Sydney Roundtree was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with three steals.
Rogers Heritage has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. As for Bishop Kenny, their win was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-2.
Rogers Heritage will take on Fayetteville at 6:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Bishop Kenny won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Green Hill at 7:00 p.m. on December 28th.
