Soccer Game Preview: Tennyson vs. Arroyo

The Tennyson Lancers will face off against the Arroyo Dons at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Tennyson's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Tennyson's offense. They came up short against Berkeley on Wednesday, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, Tennyson can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 382nd, while Berkeley are ranked 64th).

Meanwhile, Arroyo lost 4-1 to San Leandro on Wednesday.

Tennyson's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3-8. As for Arroyo, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8-4.
