Softball Recap: Roosevelt Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Roosevelt's offense. They lost 15-0 to the Apple Valley Eagles on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Teddies' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Roosevelt dropped their record down to 4-9 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Apple Valley, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-11.

Looking ahead, Roosevelt will take on Concordia Academy in a tournament on Friday. The Beacons will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Teddies surely won't give up without a fight. As for Apple Valley, they will host Burnsville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles are facing the Blaze at the right time seeing as the Blaze are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
