Soccer Recap: Central Heights Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Liberty Football Club, Central Heights was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They blew past the Waskom Wildcats 6-0. The high-scoring effort was just what the Blue Devils needed considering they were shutout in their previous match.

They hit Waskom with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ivan Venegas (3), Victor Romero, Cruz Ivey, and Valentin Garcia.

Central Heights' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Waskom, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Central Heights is taking a road trip to square off against Atlanta at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Central Heights is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3 goals per game this season. As for Waskom, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Carlisle at 5:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
