Softball Recap: Loretto Beats Mt. Pleasant for Their Third Straight Victory

Loretto waltzed into their match on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Mt. Pleasant Tigers get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. That's two games straight that the Mustangs have won by exactly 15 runs.

The team relied heavily on Abby Andrews, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubrey Ezell, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.

Loretto always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .692. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Loretto's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Mt. Pleasant, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Loretto nor Mt. Pleasant have any future games scheduled.
