Volleyball Recap: North Branch Now 7-1 over Last Eight Games

North Branch proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Mounds View Mustangs, sneaking past 2-1. That's more bragging rights for the Vikings, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

North Branch is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-8 record this season. As for Mounds View, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-12.

North Branch wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Sauk Rapids-Rice on the 10th. Mounds View has also already played their next matchup (against St. Michael-Albertville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
