Baseball Recap: Atherton Comes Up Short

Atherton managed to slip by Butler the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Ravens lost 10-2 to the Bears on Wednesday.

Atherton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caleb Johnson, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run. That triple marked the first that Johnson has hit this season.

Atherton's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Butler, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-6.

Looking ahead, Atherton will take on Ballard at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Butler, they will challenge Fern Creek at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday.
