Evergreen is 8-2 against Renton since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Wolverines will head out to challenge the Red Hawks at 4:00 p.m. Renton took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Evergreen, who comes in off a win.

On Wednesday, Evergreen was able to grind out a solid victory over Mercer Island, taking the game 9-5. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolverines.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Renton and Tyee, and Tyee kept the tradition alive. The Red Hawks lost 28-3 to the Titans on Wednesday.

Renton saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sophina Zebley, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.

Renton's defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Evergreen, their win bumped their record up to 10-4.

Evergreen took their victory against Renton in their previous meeting on April 9th by a conclusive 19-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolverines since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
