Volleyball Recap: Serena Starts Season with Victory on the Road + How To Watch

Serena had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Reed-Custer Comets. The Huskers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Comets, too.

Serena easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-20.

Leading Serena to victory were Aubrey Duffy and Trinity Weber. Duffy had 13 digs and two aces, while Weber had six digs. That's the most digs Duffy has posted since back in October of 2024.

Serena has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Amboy on the 27th. As for Reed-Custer, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Gardner-South Wilmington on the 26th.
