Wyoming Area came out on top against Holy Redeemer on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run sixth inning. The Warriors narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Royals 8-6. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 win the Royals walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

The team relied heavily on Addison Gaylord, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs and two RBI.

Wyoming Area's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Holy Redeemer, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-2.

When Wyoming Area and Holy Redeemer next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Wyoming Area will try to stop Elk Lake's four-game winning streak when they meet at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Holy Redeemer will face off against Lake-Lehman and their four-game winning streak at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Royals 3.6, the Knights 2.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
