They never let The First Academy onto the board and left with a 1-0 victory. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Lakers were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Foundation Academy hasn't lost a match yet, a trend which continued in their latest game on Thursday. They blew past Wekiva 3-0. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by three goals or more this season.

Foundation Academy pushed their record up to 12-0-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those three contests. As for Windermere Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which somehow still isn't as good as their 9-2-2 record this season.

Everything went Windermere Prep's way against Foundation Academy in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, as Windermere Prep made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Windermere Prep since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
