Volleyball Recap: Cristo Rey Comes Up Short

Cristo Rey lost against River Valley back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Coyotes came up short against the Leopards, falling 3-0. The Coyotes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Cristo Rey may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored zero points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Cristo Rey's loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for River Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Cristo Rey will square off against School for Entrepreneurship & Technology at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for River Valley, after both having extra time off, they and High Tech NC will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
