Volleyball Recap: Booneville Gets the Win

Booneville won the last time they faced Wheeler and things went their way on Saturday too. The Blue Devils came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Blue Devils.

Booneville not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Wheeler between 16 and 18 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-16.

Despite the defeat, Wheeler saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Marlee Hutcheson had nine assists and seven digs.

Booneville's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Wheeler, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.

Coincidentally, Booneville and Wheeler will both be playing Baldwyn the next time they take the court. The Blue Devils will head out to face the Bearcats at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Eagles will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
