Basketball Recap: Montville Comes Up Short

Montville suffered their closest loss since January 13th on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Wheeler Lions by a score of 30-27. The Wolves were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lions earlier this season, when they won 41-32.

Montville's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Wheeler, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.

Montville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Wheeler has already played their next contest (against Stonington), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
