Emrick Hays Delivers Best Effort of Season

Emrick Hays produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Garden Plain to the win on Friday. Hays rushed for 211 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 7.5 yards per carry. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (107.8). Those 211 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

The victory (which was Garden Plain's third in a row) raised their record to 4-2. Hays and Garden Plain will head out on the road to face off against Douglass at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Isaac Winter and Co. Win 17th in a Row

Isaac Winter was instrumental in extending Conway Springs's winning streak to 17 on Friday. Winter turned in his biggest game of the season, rushing for 189 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.9 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 79-yard run.

Conway Springs pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. Winter and Conway Springs will challenge Ellinwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Braxx Farr Dazzles in Medicine Lodge Victory

Braxx Farr posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 116 yards and a touchdown. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack, forced a fumble, and made four total tackles (3.0 for loss).

On the season, Farr has run in 4 touchdowns while averaging 69 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after five games last season, he was only averaging 7.6 rushing yards per game.

Logan Osner Turns in Season-Best Effort

Conway Springs picked up their 17th consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Logan Osner. Osner produced his best game of the campaign : he rushed for 121 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries.

This year, Osner has thrown 1 touchdown (and no picks) while averaging 25.8 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 6.6 passer rating per game. This year he is averaging 66.85 passer rating.
