Cuthbertson entered their tilt with Porter Ridge on Friday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They claimed a resounding 69-41 victory over the Pirates. Given the Cavaliers' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 38th, while the Pirates are ranked 401st) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.
